Home for the Holidays 2013!

Postby AS 2 Tom Little » 28 Nov 2013 02:33

Following tradition here at AirSource, it is time for the HOME FOR HOLIDAYS annual event!

A gift of v$5,000 to all pilots who land at their home airport using MyAAS (version 1 or 2).

 One time v-payment arrivals effective 28 Nov - 31 Dec 2013, flight must originate at least 150 miles from your home airport, all divisions qualify, logbook awards will issue as management is able.

 Only pilots hired BEFORE 11/27/2013 are eligible.

:!: DO NOT change your home airport! All pilot data was "frozen" and downloaded as of 00:00 UTC 28 Nov 2013. The home airport you had at that time will be used to determine your eligibility for this event.

Enjoy and HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

stupid question, I'm sure, but.. for "home airport" are you referring to our real world hometown, or the first airport we departed from? not sure how to look up mine, unless it's my own hometown field, of course.

Doesn't look like you have one set up. This page will allow you to search, then click on link "add as home airport".

Since you did not have a home airport upon the "freeze", the system will look for it in your profile once it is time to issue the reward.

Hey Tom, Thanks for this Event!
I wish Everyone a Healthy and Happy Holiday Season.
I feel that AirSource is a peaceful place to be even if it is only in my head and a virtual world. I come to AirSource knowing values, continence and structure are ever present where all around in the real world there is chaos and strive.
Thanks Tom for this haven port, this peaceful 'safe harbor in the storm' !
PEACE

Is MyAAS supposed to automatically detect when you landed at your home airport? Landed there (KBXK) back on December 9th, but haven't seen this years bonus.
