Swearingen/Fairchild Metroliner

Swearingen/Fairchild Metroliner

Postby Neil B » 02 Jan 2014 12:19

I've flown a couple of Skippers Aviation flights using the listed equipment, the Swearingen Metroliner (SWM).

When trying to complete the PIREP with MyAAS I found that there's no option for this aircraft - ended up entering the flights as done with a SAAB 340.

Any chance we can get the MyAAS list updated to include the Metroliner ?

Hi Neil,

I believe the one you need to file the PIREP with is under Fairchild Industries then choose Metro.

Tom,

There is no Fairchild Industries category to choose from. There is only SAAB/Fairchild, but the Metro is not included or listed as an option.

Yes, there was a restriction on this aircraft manufacturer. Now you should be able to see the following:

Fairchild Industries ---> Metro.

I still seem to be having a problem with this Tom. Whilst there is now a category for Fairchild industries, it appears to be blank - there are no aircraft listed when you choose it.

Neil - are you making a scheduled flight or bid flight?
